The avo+cado Cosy Cover is perfect for newborn babies weighing between 3 and 7 kg. It is a versatile product that can be used with almost any type of newborn nappies, such as a newborn prefold, bamboo liners, gauze nappies or newborn panty nappies. The overpants are designed to be reusable by simply changing the absorbent pad with a fresh one.
The double-leg cuffs with soft fleece provide extra leak protection and prevent marks on the baby's delicate skin. The fleece material is also used on the flaps on the tummy and back to ensure maximum comfort for the baby. The inside of the fleece is coated with PUL to prevent leakage and provide additional security.
The overtrousers come with press studs that allow you to adjust the height and width, ensuring a perfect fit for your newborn. It is made of quick-drying, waterproof polyester that can be easily wiped or rinsed by hand. This makes it an affordable swaddling system for newborns as you only need a few over pants.
It is important to note that the overtrousers are washable up to 60 degrees but not suitable for tumble drying. High heat can damage the PUL, so avoid drying them on the radiator or hanging them in direct sunlight for long periods. Additionally, do not use bleach, fabric softener or vinegar when cleaning the overtrousers.

Question from 1 Apr 2026Ja, in der Regel ist das problemlos möglich. Stoffwindeln sitzen ohnehin tief, sodass der Nabelbereich normalerweise frei bleibt. Sollte die Windel vorne anfangs doch etwas hoch sitzen, kann sie einfach etwas tiefer angelegt werden bzw. der Stoff nach unten geschoben werden. Bei Bedarf kann zusätzlich etwas Mulltuch zwischen Nabelrest und Windel gelegt werden.
