The Smartfold Prefolds from Smart Bottoms are made with organic cotton and hemp, and are the perfect option for a heavy wetter. The middle third is three layers thick and the sides are two layers thick. When folded to one third of the original size, this offers seven layers of absorbency for your child.
We recommend using the prefolds with a waterproof cover such as Smart Bottoms Too Smart 2.0. Alternatively, these prefolds are also ideal in pocket diapers or the Dream Diaper.

Prep diaper before first use by washing 6-8 times. Test the absorbency by pouring water onto the dry diaper; it should absorb instantly. If it does not, wash a couple more times and try again. The number of washes required to properly prep the diaper depends on the type of washer and detergent, as well as the hardness of the water.
Washing instructions:
Wash up to 60°C. Can be tumble dried on low. Do not use bleach or fabric softener.
